Edit Office Documents without Leaving Gmail

After receiving a Microsoft document on your inbox, there is no need to download that file for view or edit. When you move your mouse cursor on the document it’ll show you three options; Download, Save to Drive and an Edit button with a pencil icon. After clicking on it, you’ll see a new page with editing options as like MS-Office.

Users can now be able to view or edit 15 new office document formats, including Presentation, Word documents, Excel documents with latest extensions (xlsx, docx, pptx etc.). Earlier, Dropbox included on drive document editing feature for its users. Now Gmail is also in this way with a lot of loaded features. You can moreover do the same thing on your Smartphone using Chrome app.
