How to Choose a Data card?
Before buying you have to take a little time for thinking what are your needs? If you want to buy online, then you must get to confuse what to choose?
Everyone likes branded products, which can travel for a long period. The different brands are Huawei, Micromax, D-Link, iBall and telecom service provider’s models, which mention above.
Now no one will like to use a 3.6 Mbps data card. 7.2, 14.4, 21 Mbps Data cards are available in the market. More speed means more price..
Two types of Wi-Fi modes are available for Data cards, Soft Wi-Fi and Hotspot. Soft Wi-Fi uses your computer Wi-Fi hardware to transfer the data and Hotspot option is included a hardware chip in data card. In using hotspot, there is no need of a computer, you can plug-in with a USB charger and access the Internet anywhere.
Data speed in India
Telecom service providers offer distinct data plans with distinctive transfer speed. The speeds are 3.6 Mbps, 7.2 Mbps, 14.4 Mbps and 21 Mbps. Same data with different speed differ the price. The speed of a data card is nothing but the maximum speed of data receiving capacity. After tested different data card speed, I understand the actual speed of a data card in India in between 2 Mbps to 10 Mbps.
So what you are thinking about? Which should you buy? There is no data card, which can give you 21 Mbps speed, because the telecom service providers give only 2 to 10 Mbps speed. If you are thinking to buy a 21 Mbps data card, then it is a wrong decision. If you have money, then go for 14.4 Mbps model, and if you are a traveler, then you may choose Wi-Fi hotspot feature in it.
